I haven't been posting much lately. Life has been hectic. Between the basement renovation, work, school, sports, car accident, sickness, Thanksgiving, yadda yadda yadda... it's been put on the backburner.

(Did I really just type Yadda Yadda Yadda?? Oh, my!)

But, I'm back on board..moving forward, ready to tackle the holiday decor, the Christmas shopping, and projects galore!

"As a biologist, I have forever admired and treasured the colors of the ocean...the deep blues, calm sea greens, and clear turquoises. Since my study abroad to the Caribbean and Central America, I've found a passion for wanting to display the beauty I've seen and the ever present reminder of the ocean creatures in jewelry, particularly earrings and bracelets. "Hi, I'm Jennifer. I'm a stay-at-home mother of two wonderful children (ages 12 and 8). In my spare time I love creating things! I love anything to do with crafts! If I am stressed at all, going to my work area and creating something calms me.

I think what led to my jewelry making began when bottle cap jewelry was all the rage. I did not want to pay the retail store price and figured out how to make them on my own.  For Christmas one year, my niece gave me beads and tools as a gift, and it really jump started my jewelry making. I knew of  ETSY and started researching what was involved with selling on the site. I eventually made the leap and started my own shop. I'm so glad I did. It is very fulfilling to know I have created something others will enjoy. Selling on Etsy allows me to feed my craft making habit!"
